It’s important to recognize the role of dyslexia in your life and learning process, as this can help you communicate your needs to others close to you. I was fortunate enough to have a strong support network of family, friends, and educators, and the persistence of my parents and my own self-advocating helped me develop new strategies for learning and processing information. These skills have helped me become a successful professional today.
